State Bank recently announced the promotion of Royce Rape from loan officer to Mortgage Underwriter. He is responsible for the underwriting approval for all mortgages bank wide.

"Royce started with State Bank just after college and has been with us over a decade. Over the years he has consistently provided our customers with a high level of dedication and expertise," said President, Don Stricklin.

While with State, Royce has worked in a variety of areas of the bank. He has several years of consumer lending and has been working in Mortgage Lending for the past 4 years. Before joining State Bank, Royce worked with Royme and Haas.

Royce graduated from Texas A&M in 1991. He lives in his hometown of Hempstead, Texas with his wife and three children.
