La Grange, TX. Jan. 02, 2002. State Bank Trust announced today that Kris Hochderfer has joined the Trust Company as Trust Manager. He will be responsible for leading new business development initiatives along with overall management and administration of the bank's trust operations. The main office for trust operations is located in Austin, TX.

Prior to joining State Bank Trust, Mr. Hochderffer served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Investment Management and Trust Division for Wells Fargo Bank. His duties as Wells Fargo included trust portfolio and personnel management along with extensive business development work.

From 1991 to 1999 he served as Senior Vice President and manager of Private Trust and Estates Division for Frost Bank. While at Frost the division reached over $350,000,000 in assets. Prior to working with Frost, Mr. Hochderffer served as Senior Vice President and Senior Trust officer with First National Bank and Trust Co. in Ponca City, OK and with First City National Bank, in Austin Texas.
