Michael Davis Joins State Bank as Insurance Advisor

GONZALES – Michael L. Davis joins State Bank as Insurance Specialist, according to President and Chief Executive Officer, Don Stricklin. 

“We are pleased to have Mike join the State Bank team.  With his extensive experience in the business, he can assist current and new State Bank customers with all their insurance needs,” Stricklin said.

“A year ago, State Bank approached me with the idea expanding their financial services to include Life Insurance.  The decision was easy to make because Davis Insurance Agency and State Bank have the same focus - providing exceptional service to their customers. Therefore, effective June 1, 2004, I will join State Bank Insurance Agency. Joining State Bank will allow me access to a more extensive array of investment and insurance products. This, in turn, will allow me to better serve you, my customer, and your growing needs,” said Mike Davis.

Born and raised in Gonzales, Mr. Davis attended Victoria Junior College before beginning his 28-year career in the insurance industry. 

Mr. Davis is an active supporter of the sports his two children, Taylor, 14, and Tanner, 10, participate in.  He is also a member of First United Methodist Church and serves on the golf association board of directors. Mr.  Davis is involved with the American Cancer Association and coordinates fundraising activities for local groups.
