Betty Nesbitt Promoted to State Bank Teller Operations Manager

GONZALES – Betty Nesbitt has been promoted to Teller Operations Manager at State Bank’s Gonzales Banking Center, effective immediately, it was announced today by Chad D. Stary, Regional President.

In her new position, Betty will supervise operations of the department staff, assist customers with teller services, train new tellers, conduct audits, oversee federal orders and shipments, back-up the tellers and proof.  After joining State Bank in 1994, she held positions of increasing responsibility including operations, proof, teller and head teller.  A graduate of Gonzales High School, Betty formerly worked at Victoria Bank & Trust before joining State Bank.  “Betty has done a very good job for our bank and we look forward to having her in a management position” said Stary.
