Kathy Gossett Named Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

                CEDAR PARK – Kathy Gossett has joined State Bank’s Cedar Park Banking Center as Senior Mortgage Loan Officer effective immediately, according to Don Stricklin, State Bank President and Chief Executive Officer.

                A native of Houston, Kathy attended the University of Texas at Austin where she studied Marketing and Business Administration and has lived in the Austin area since 1984.  Prior to joining State Bank, Kathy worked at Mission Mortgage of Texas in Austin for 11 years.  She also has more than 20 years of experience in the banking, stock brokerage, insurance and financial planning industries.

                Kathy, her husband and their two black labs live on acreage in the Williamson County/Cedar Park area.  They support the Heart of Texas Lab Rescue Organization, the Children’s Hospital Foundation and Safe Place of Austin.  She belongs to the Bethany United Methodist Church and is active in the music ministry through the chancel and kindergarten choirs.  Kathy also serves as an ‘at large’ member of the administrative board at Bethany UMC and is active in the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and the Austin Women’s Council of Realtors. 

                “I created a slogan that explains what I’m all about -- ‘Service from the Heart’,” Kathy explains.  “I work with my clients closely to determine their short and long-term financial goals so that I can recommend a loan program that will satisfy their needs.”
