State Bank’s Flatonia Banking Center Welcomes Carlos Saenz

                 Flatonia – State Bank is pleased to announce that Consumer Lender/Banking Officer Juan (Carlos) Saenz will be at the Flatonia banking center on Thursdays, or as needed, effective immediately.

                A native of Wolfforth, Texas, Mr. Saenz graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Financial Planning.  He operates a small ranching operation in Dewitt County.

                Mr. Saenz will continue to serve as a lender and banking officer in State Bank’s Gonzales Banking Center, as he has done for the last two years.  Previously, Carlos was with First National Bank of Goliad. He also has experience with Wells Fargo Bank and Central Bank & Trust.

                “Carlos’ diverse financial services experience and his excellent bilingual skills will allow us to offer an extra level of service to our customers,” said Chad D. Stary, Regional President of State Bank – Gonzales/Flatonia.   “Carlos will help us meet our loan demands and serve a larger portion of the Flatonia community.  We welcome customers to come in and get to know Carlos.”

Mr. Saenz was in the U.S. Navy from 1981-1985, serving on the USS Puget Sound Ad 38, the Sixth Fleet Flagship.  Before his honorable discharge, he earned a Meritorious Unit Commendation in Lebanon in 1983, as well as a Good Conduct Award.  Mr. Saenz has one son, Randall.
