Joe Reed Joins State Bank Investor Services

Reed recently joined the State Bank Cedar Park Banking Center's Investor Services as an Investment Representative/Financial Advisor, according to President and Chief Executive Officer Don Stricklin. A former National Football League player (NFL), Reed was born in Newport, Rhode Island and grew up in Lorenzo, Texas. He attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas before graduating from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Miss. with a Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree. After playing nine years in the NFL as a quarterback for both the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions, he began an investment career that has spanned more than 20 years. He has extensive experience in commercial real estate, insurance, stocks, bonds, annuities, options and mutual funds, as well as in-depth training in retirement planning, asset allocation and estate planning. Before joining State Bank, Joe worked for Morgan Stanley for 10 years.
